BJP has launched 'Save Democracy Campaign' to expose facts and strengthen public trust in democratic institutions against the misinformation being spread by Congress and Opposition on SIR (Special Investment Region). The padayatra has been organized by the BJP in response to the protests being held by the Congress and the CJP across the country. This padayatra has been held in Ahmedabad as part of this campaign. Union Minister and BJP leader J.P. Nadda and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other leaders participated in the padayatra. All the party MPs, MLAs and office bearers of the organization have joined in this walk. The padayatra is held from the statue of Lord Parasuram to Subhash Bridge (about 1 to 1.5 km) at Nawawadj Vyaswadi Char Rasta. Due to the padayatra, the road from Akhbarnagar Circle via Ranip D-Mart to RTO in both directions was closed for motorists and alternate routes were announced. This padayatra has been organized by BJP from Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat in Gujarat. Through this padayatra, BJP wants to send a message of unity across the state.
