Ahmedabad city rickshaw and taxi drivers have started a four-day strike from today to protest against the policies of Rapido, Ola and Uber. Ordinary citizens will face great difficulty in travelling in the wake of this strike. About 2 lakh rickshaws and taxis will not be seen on the road in Ahmedabad city from today till September 10 in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Sanad areas. However, rickshaw and school van services to put students in school will be away from the strike. That is, the children's vehicle will continue as usual. Rickshaw pullers have taken out this strike against online companies. who are competing neck and neck to attract customers. Due to which very little fare is paid to the drivers. Companies pay drivers only Rs 8-10 per kilometre against the ever-increasing price of CNG.
