Sur Prabhat: The Morning Concert

SurPrabhat April 2015 will see the coming together of Carnatic and Rock artists not only in the same event, on the same stage but also sharing space and creating a mystic fusion of Carnatic and Rock music!
Continuing the tradition of holding the live morning concert, SurPrabhat, on the first Sunday of every month, 5th April 2015, will witness something very new and unique with Jayan Nair, T. Palanivelu and P Manikandhan from Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, along with Jainam Modi, Meet Jain, Karan Patel and Dhaivat from Meghdhanush.
The artistes from Darpana which is committed to excellence, innovation and the excitement of using art to bring about a change, along with, artistes from Meghdhanush, an Indi Rock Band, will not only present a taste of their own genre of Carnatic and Rock music respectively, but will also charm you with a fusion of the two genres. Both, the Academy and the Band, are nationally and internationally known for their own genres, but we are sure, here on, a new trend of trying tremendously different genres together will begin and succeed!
